Survey on font types

Here I reviewed my font research, by getting the opinions of my target audience (16-25). I asked a group of my friends what they thought about the fonts I'd chosen and to pick out their favourites.

This font did not prove to be popular amongst the group that I surveyed, they mirrored my own views, in that the font does remind you of a broadway show and a musical.

Although I like this font, and think it relates to music as the ends of the letters make me think of music notes and trebal clef's, I do not think it is bold enough for a rock magazine. The group that I asked also said the same, that it did not jump out at you, like a rock magazine title should.

This font, was picked by a few of the people I surveyed. They liked the boldness and simplicity of it,  however after asking others, they contradicted these views and said that the edges were too rounded and didnt strike out.

These two fonts were the most popular.  They are both bold and make a statement. They have sharp edges which I think relates to the style of rock music. I definately want to use on of these two fonts for my cover title.
